A watercolour house portrait can make a lovely gift for that special occasion for someone you love, or maybe you are moving and would like a memento of your present home. Whatever the reason, let me know, and I’ll be happy to help.

How it Works

You can email, or Whatsapp if it’s easier, any photos you have of the house, and on approval of my quote I will send email you back a preliminary ‘rough’ sketch to establish angle/details to be included. When you are happy with this, and we are agreed on a size then I produce a beautiful watercolour portrait of your house! I like to include a hand-cut mount which is then cello-wrapped, backed, packed and sent to you by Special Delivery.

 

 

Prices

Dependent upon the size of the painting and complexity of the subject, but for a typical house portrait to a ‘framed’ size of approx. 50 x 40cm (20″ x 16″) including a 6cm mount I would ask £360.00 (Image size approx. 37cm x 27cm) This would be inclusive of a nice hand-cut mount, cello-wrapped (but not framed), packaged and sent by guaranteed next day signed for delivery.

 

Fast Service

Quick service available , I am used to last minute requests, so try me! (If no urgency I will usually turn around a house portrait within two to three weeks but I do get busy at certain times of the year)

Framing

I am no longer able to offer a framing service for my watercolour paintings, but when I am mounting the image I am happy to make the size a ‘standard’ frame size eg 40cm x 50cm as required. This will enable you to buy an ‘off the peg’ frame for speed and economy of framing should this be a factor.
